How this works
The tool checks each cocktail in our database against your ticked inventory. A drink is "fully buildable" if every ingredient (other than garnishes) is in your home bar. A drink is "almost there" if you are missing one or two ingredients. The tool also matches close substitutes (e.g. "any rum" works for "white rum"; "any base spirit" works for surprise builds).
The starter home bar
If you are new to home cocktail-making, the starter home bar shortcut ticks 12 ingredients that unlock about 40 named classic cocktails. We recommend building toward this set first, then expanding by ingredient as you find drinks you want to make.
Starter set: gin, vodka, bourbon, white rum, sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, Campari, Cointreau, fresh lime, fresh lemon, simple syrup, aromatic bitters. Plus soda, tonic, and any espresso-coffee.
