What kind of bar is Dissolved Solids?

A coffee cocktail bar and cafe. We pour espresso and kopi-O straight throughout the day, and we build drinks that fold coffee into cocktails (kopi sour, espresso martini, black honey). The room is small, dark, and built for drinkers.

What's a signature drink at Dissolved Solids?

Kopi Sour, our Malaysian whisky sour built with kopi-O, gula melaka and lemon. Also Espresso Martini pulled fresh, and Black Honey (non-alcoholic) with cold-brew, honey and lemon bitters.

What's the difference between Dissolved Solids and Soluble Solids?

Dissolved Solids leans into coffee cocktails and is open from afternoon to late night. Soluble Solids in SS2 is a customised cocktail parlour with no fixed list, every drink built bespoke from a short conversation with the bartender.

How do I get to Dissolved Solids?

We are 5 minutes from Damansara Utama, 8 minutes from TTDI, 10 to 12 minutes from 1Utama, 15 to 18 minutes from Bangsar, and around 22 to 28 minutes from KLCC off-peak. Free street parking after 18:00. Covered municipal lot within a 3-minute walk.

What does Dissolved Solids mean?

It's a coffee term. Total dissolved solids (TDS) is the standard measure of how much coffee has actually dissolved into the water during extraction. We named the bar after the principle that everything in your cup should be there because we put it there.

Measurements are a guide. Our bartender finalises everything at service - pour amounts, build, glass, garnish. Ratios get adjusted constantly for the best balance, because natural ingredients (citrus, herbs, syrups, fresh fruit) shift in intensity through the season. If we are out of something we will substitute with the closest thing we have.
