How it tastes
Mango leads. Apple flower and osmanthus sit underneath as a soft floral platform. The espresso reads as depth rather than bitterness in this context, because the mango softens it and the floral notes layer on top. We've found this is one of the easiest gateway drinks for friends who don't usually order non-alcoholic drinks at a bar.
Why we built it
This is in our Crafted Beverages section, which is the non-alcoholic side of the menu. Mango on its own is too sweet for a sit-down beverage. Pairing it with floral notes (apple flower, osmanthus) gives it structure. Espresso is the part that earns the drink its place. Without coffee, this would just be a fruit drink.
