A hotel function room is the safe corporate choice and the forgettable one. A small craft cocktail bar is the one people actually talk about the next morning. Our two rooms in PJ hold 15 to 40 guests, pour at craft standard, and sit about 20 minutes from the KL city centre with parking that does not punish your team. We invoice the company properly, weeknights are easy to book, and the bill runs 20 to 30 percent under an equivalent central KL corporate venue. The trade-off is no ballroom, which for most teams is the upgrade, not the compromise.

Corporate events we host

  • Year-end and annual dinners. The team night that closes the year. 20 to 40 people, a custom menu, a toast, the awards if you have them.
  • Team building. A guided build-your-own-cocktail session run as a light competition. The most-booked corporate format here.
  • Client appreciation. A curated evening for key clients, smaller and warmer than a hotel reception.
  • Product launches and brand activations. Short format, a signature drink tied to the product, room for a brief reveal.
  • Networking and mixers. Standing format, long drinks, the bar as the reason to stay and talk.
  • Off-sites, work anniversaries, farewells, and team celebrations. Anything 15 to 40 people where the room should feel chosen, not booked.

Team-building cocktail sessions

Our most popular corporate add-on. The bartender teaches the group two or three drinks, then each person builds their own; we can run it as a friendly competition with the team voting a winner. It runs 60 to 90 minutes for 10 to 30 people and pairs naturally with a dinner or a drinks reception afterward. Non-alcoholic builds are included by default, so the whole team takes part regardless of who is drinking. See our cocktail workshop page for the hands-on format.

Both bars for a corporate night

Dissolved Solids, Damansara Kim. 43-1 Jalan SS20/11, 47400 PJ. Seats about 30, standing around 40. Best for 18 to 40 guests and the more structured corporate format (printed menu, a few words, awards). Warm light, an upstairs room private from the street, free street parking after 18:00, an easy 20 to 25 minutes from KLCC and Bangsar.

Soluble Solids, SS2. 50-1 Jalan SS2/24, 47300 PJ. Seats about 20 to 25. Best for 12 to 25 guests and the bespoke, conversational format. The build-a-drink model makes it a natural fit for a smaller team-building night.

Company billing, done properly

Corporate bookings need clean paperwork, so we keep it simple:

  • An invoice in your registered company name, suitable for expense claims and finance records.
  • Payment by company bank transfer, card, or DuitNow. A deposit (usually 30 percent) confirms the date; the balance settles on or after the night against the invoice.
  • PO and billing details captured up front. Send the company name, registration number if needed, and any PO reference when you book.
  • A single point of contact from us through the whole booking, so finance and the organiser are not chasing different people.

Speeches, awards, and a screen

We have a small PA and microphone for a toast, a short speech, or an awards moment, and a screen can be arranged for a brief slide or a product reveal. The rooms are built for speeches and launches rather than full conference AV. Tell us the run-of-show and we set the room and the music to match it. Larger production (DJ, full projection, stage) is coordinated externally with enough notice.

What it costs

A minimum spend, not a flat venue fee. Guest drinks count toward it, so a well-attended evening usually meets the minimum naturally.

  • Weeknight (Tue to Thu), 15 to 30 guests: RM 3,500 to RM 7,000 minimum spend.
  • Friday or Saturday, 25 to 40 guests: RM 7,000 to RM 12,000 minimum spend.
  • Team-building session: quoted on top, based on group size and duration.

PJ rates run roughly 20 to 30 percent below an equivalent central KL corporate venue for the same group, and parking does not add a line to anyone's claim.

Can you issue an invoice to my company?

Yes. We issue a proper invoice for your company, suitable for expense claims and finance records. Payment is by company bank transfer, card, or DuitNow; a deposit (usually 30 percent) confirms the booking and the balance is settled on or after the night against the invoice. Tell us the registered company name and any PO or billing details when you book.

Do you run team-building cocktail sessions?

Yes. A guided build-your-own-cocktail session is our most popular corporate add-on. The bartender teaches the group two or three drinks, the team builds their own, and we can run it as a light friendly competition. It works for 10 to 30 people, takes 60 to 90 minutes, and pairs well with a dinner or a drinks reception after. Non-alcoholic builds are included so everyone takes part.

How much does a corporate buyout in PJ cost?

We use a minimum spend, not a flat venue fee. Working ranges: RM 3,500 to RM 7,000 on weeknights for 15 to 30 guests, RM 7,000 to RM 12,000 on Friday or Saturday for 25 to 40 guests. Guest drinks count toward the minimum. A team-building session is quoted on top. PJ rates run 20 to 30 percent below equivalent central KL corporate venues.

Is there AV for a short speech or presentation?

We have a small PA and microphone for a toast or a short speech, and a screen can be arranged for a brief slide or a product reveal. The rooms suit speeches, awards, and launches rather than full conference AV. Brief us on what you need and we confirm the setup when you book. Larger production (DJ, full projection) is coordinated externally.

Are you available on weekday evenings for corporate events?

Yes, and weeknights (Tuesday to Thursday) are the easiest to book and the best value for a corporate buyout. Many year-end and team events run midweek. Friday and Saturday windows book out earlier, so reach out as soon as you have a date.
