Are the snacks pork-free?
Yes. The snack menu at Dissolved Solids in Damansara Kim is pork-free. Chicken nuggets and popcorn chicken use chicken; crispy broccoli is plant-based. Alcohol is served, so the bar is not halal-certified, but pork is not used in any snack. If a guest in your group is observing strict halal rules around alcohol-adjacent food, mention it when you arrive and we will guide the order.
Is there a vegetarian option?
Crispy broccoli is the vegetarian and vegan option (florets fried until the edges crisp, salted hot). It is also, somewhat unexpectedly, the most ordered snack of the three. Chicken nuggets and popcorn chicken both contain chicken. If you need a fully vegetarian table, order extra crispy broccoli and we can size the portion up; tell the bartender when you arrive.
Do you have allergen information?
All three snacks are fried in the same oil, so cross-contact between items is possible. Chicken nuggets and popcorn chicken contain wheat (breading) and chicken. Crispy broccoli contains wheat (light coating) and is fried in shared oil. No nuts are used in the snack menu itself. For severe allergies (gluten, shellfish, dairy), tell the bartender on arrival and we will confirm what is safe that day.
Can I have a full meal at Dissolved Solids?
No. The snacks are designed to extend a drinking sit, not replace dinner. For a full meal before drinks, Damansara Kim has Table & Apron, Kompassion, and Piccoli Lotti within a 5-minute walk. Eat first, walk over, then order snacks here to carry you through cocktails. Soluble Solids in SS2 does not currently serve any snacks; that outlet is drinks-only.
